Cape Peninsula Tour

Discover just how much more the greater Cape Town area has to offer than just the City Bowl. On this fascinatingly diverse, full day, 200-kilometer tour, we set off along the Atlantic Seaboard.

  • Pass the Imizamo Yethu township and learn about township life and the massive achievements in re-building the lives of previously disadvantaged South Africans.
  • Drive into HoutBay harbour to visit the historic lookout points before heading along spectacular Chapmans Peak Drive.
  • Head out to Cape Point, where standing at the restored old lighthouse you can gaze in the respective directions of the mighty Indian and Atlantic Oceans!
  • Visit the Cape of Good Hope– the most southwesterly point of the African Continent.
  • Enjoy the antics of the natural breeding colony of the African Penguin at Boulders beach.
  • Enjoy lunch in Simonstown– headquarters of the South African Navy.
  • Depart for Cape Town via the Indian Ocean side of the Peninsula driving through Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay, St. James and Muizenberg. Pass by Pollsmoor Correctional Services – the prison where Nelson Mandela spent 6 years of his life behind bars after 18 years on Robben Island.
